As I walked along the beach in Puerto Rico this past January, I saw many shells. They were all different shapes and sizes, and they were all perfect.
I thought about how often we see perfection in nature, but we don’t see it in ourselves. We’re always looking for flaws, and comparing ourselves to others.
But the truth is, we are all perfect. Just the way we are.
We have our own unique gifts and talents, and we have our own unique journeys to walk. There is no one else in the world who is exactly like you.
So next time you’re feeling down, remember the shells on the beach. Remember that you are perfect, just the way you are.
Here are a few tips to help you remember your own perfection:
🐚Focus on your strengths. What are you good at? What do you enjoy doing? Make a list of your strengths and focus on them.
🐚Be kind to yourself. Talk to yourself the way you would talk to a friend. Be patient with yourself and forgive yourself for your mistakes.
🐚Live in the present moment. Don’t dwell on the past or worry about the future. Focus on the present moment and appreciate all that you have.
🐚Connect with nature. Spending time in nature can help you connect with your inner self and enjoy your beauty.
Remember, you are perfect. Just the way you are.
